This past weekend we traveled to the Windy City for the NASCAR Xfinity Race. This time last year we came and got rained out, but this weekend there was nothing but sunshine! 

We stayed at The Congress Plaza Hotel in the heart of Chicago and let me just say, Kyle may be able to race in the city, but he can NOT drive in the city (haha!) In his defense, many roads were closed which made navigating much more difficult. 

Our hotel was absolutely stunning. This historic venue was both regal and affordable. Perfect for our weekend stay! 

The first night, we met up with Kyle’s sponsor for the weekend, Beard Guyz, and had the ultimate ping pong experience. 

The next day we geared up for more walking and RACE DAY! I opted for a black jumpsuit by Good American paired with a cute pair of tennis shoes. 

I was comfortable all day and still felt styled. 

Kyle miraculously avoided EVERY disaster on the track and finished P14! 

It was a quick but eventful trip with a lot to see in a short amount of time. I look forward to coming back next season!
